Project Evangelism is an interdenominational faith organization based in Northern Ireland. Our vision is to train and mobilize Christians for church-based and outreach evangelism and to reach all people with the Gospel of Christ.
Mission Trips
We are primarily involved in local outreach and it is the Director's vision to reach out to the community by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in culturally relevant ways. We do this by recognizing changing needs and meeting them in new and applicable ways.
Over the past 10 years, we have built good relations with various American colleges and church organizations who have sent Spring and Summer mission teams. The Lord is doing great things in Northern Ireland, the people are beginning to awaken in this area, but we need innovative peoople to continually progress the work of Project Evangelism.
The benefit of your partnership is three-fold: 1. You attract young people because you are different and exciting. 2. You can cross the divide between Protestant and Catholic and bring them together in Christ. 3. Your progressive, forward thinking encourages local Christians who are involved in our ministry.
There are also opportunities to work with mission churches in France. We have set up contacts with these churches in France and would send teams from Northern Ireland to work there. This is a great opportunity for students studying French to practice conversational French while doing outreach ministry. American teams would first come to Northern Ireland and would be transported to France for this ministry.
Internships with Project Evangelism provide college-age students the opportunity to come for a semester or summer during their Junior or Senior year (or recently post grad) to obtain practical experience to apply toward their diploma and future career/ministries.
Our ministry's philosophy is to build relationships, change lives and to create a safe environment for the young people in Northern Ireland. After earning trust and respect, we have the opportunity to share our faith in an effort to bring "real life" changes through Christ.
We offer a unique opportunity for Home School families to come on a mission trip. The whole family can have the opportunity to learn about the island's history, geography and culture. Experience the living history of the island of St. Patrick. Visit the homeland of C.S. Lewis and Amy Carmichael. You can meet homeschoolers from Northern Ireland and share your faith with them. The doors of opportunity will be open in the public schools and children and families can interact with children and teenagers in the area.
